Cannot register email to send receipts

I want to email receipts to QB Online to be recorded as and attached to expenses.

However, when I email to [email address removed] I get an error message that my email has not been registered for this.

In other help posts I saw that we are supposed to add that registered email under the "Receipts" tab, however there is no "receipts" tab under banking in my QB online.

I use the China QB online version, I hope it is possible to email receipts to QB online with this version?

If not that would be quite a big problem. How do we get our receipts into QB online in an efficient and easy manner?

The option to email your expense receipts and bills to get them into QuickBooks Online (QBO) International version is unavailable. This Receipt Forwarding feature is available in QBO US and QuickBooks Self-Employed versions.

However, you can attach a PDF copy of your receipts when you create an expense in QBO. Let me show you how:

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Select Expense under Suppliers.
  3. Complete the expense information.
  4. Hit the Attachments icon, then locate and open the receipt from your folder.
  5. Hit Save and close.

It is unbelievable that this is not available outside the US. Is this going to change? The longer I use QB Online the more I realize that this is not an international company, but has a huge focus on the US and doesnt really care that much about users in other countries.

 

Regarding your other comment, how does one create recurring expenses in QB? Would be great to learn more there.
