Hello Team, Mistakenly we have reconciled our CD Account 3 times, so we want to remove rest 2 reconciliation. Please help me

I appreciate you for adding your first post, Sandesh. I can help you with modifying your reconciliations.

We can only reconcile a transaction at once in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, you can always edit its status through the Reconciliation window. If you have multiple reconciliations that need to be undone, you can do it by editing the reconciled entries manually.

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click on Bookkeeping or Accounting, then select Chart of accounts.
  3. Find the account that has the reconciled transaction. Then select View register.
  4. Find the transaction. For reconciled, you’ll see an “R” in the checkmark ✔ column.
  5. Select the transaction to expand the view.
  6. In the checkmark ✔ column, select the box with the “R” until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Close the account register.

If you have an accountant, they can undo an entire reconciliation for you. They can also make some adjustments to your past reconciliations if needed.

If you happen to encounter issues while reconciling your account in the future, see the solutions provided in this article to resolve the issue: Learn the reconciliation workflow in QuickBooks.

Let me know in the comment section below if you have other questions about your reconciliations. I'm always here to help. Keep safe!
