How do I get FULL ACCESS to my account? I have my account through my CPA firm and CAN'T ACCESS. QBO CAN YOU FIX THIS ASAP!!!!!!!!!!! THIS DOESN'T WORK FOR A BUSINESS OWNER I was told to do that through qbo escalation team and now I can't get all of the access and my cpa firm can't grant me access and doesn't have access. This is not good. QUICKBOOKS PLEASE FIX THIS FOR ME ASAP so I have full access to my account. I'm paying for QBO without the full access to where I can't use it like I did for the last several years. Is it normal to have to be on the phone with QBs for 5-10 hours and not have access and/or get problems resolved? I've asked to speak to the IT department to help resolve this issue as it is an issue with your website/qbo/software that isn't working properly. The buck can't keep getting passed as it's my cpa firm not allowing me to use as they don't have access. It can't be the escalation team person's fault that I don't have access. It can't be me that is at fault as I'm not a Qbs employee but have become one with all of the times I've called in the last month with qbo. Please get this resolved ASAP. I can't file my coroprate filing, taxes, edit my account, due bank feeds, etc. currently. If anyone knows how to get ahold of the IT people, get ahold of them or help me get ahold of them. I've asked and no response and no resolution.

I see what you've been going through, SB. If your account was set up by your CPA firm, you will need to contact them to request access. They must transfer Primary Admin rights to you, which will provide you with control over your account.

 

On the other hand, if you created the account but still don't have access, one possible reason could be browser issues that affect your ability to access QBO. I recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies or using an incognito/private browsing window. This will prevent the use of any existing cached files that are misconfigured, corrupted, or outdated that could be causing the unusual behavior.

 

Here are the shortcut keys you can follow to open a private window, depending on the available browser you have:

 

  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

Moreover, if you lost or forgot your user ID and password and no longer have access to your phone or email on file, use the account recovery form in this article: Recover your Intuit Account if you can’t sign in.

 I don’t know if you read completely what I wrote but I’m not able to get access to my full account and my cpa where I bought it through doesn’t have full access/can’t access my full account either, and doesn’t have a way to grant me full access. 

If that’s their job and they can’t get it but toggling a switch for access, wouldn’t let her have full access either, and she stated she would have to call. 

I’ve called and talked to someone in qb and reach ed out to escalation. I’m working with escalation on a separate issue and they can’t get it rectified and said cpa firm has to allow permission. Institute and QuickBooks online is passing the buck to far as blaming others. I also got from qbo that it was the escalation person s fault. I can’t imagine that being the case that a manager is an IT expert and out of all the employees that one person that’s trying to help me is the only one that can resolve it.


I’ve tried 3 different computers with all the same. The cache isn’t the issue. 

I can login without difficulty.

 

 Intuit/qbo how are you going to resolve my issue? And when? Does leaving a case reference number in here help resolve the issue? How do I get more advanced/superior support for my account? Can someone higher up resolve my account in support/it?

I’m not an expert in qbo/qb however I’ve used qb and qbo for the last 7 years. The bank feeds, functions, taxes I mentioned earlier are the task I can’t complete without full access.
