How do I link bank accounts?

Connecting your bank account to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) can be achieved via the banking page, Mrtonylessons. Allow me to guide you through the process to ensure a successful link to your bank account.

Before proceeding, please ensure you have your banking credentials ready, as they will be needed for this process. To get started, kindly follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Sign into your QBO account.
  2. Go to Transactions, then choose Bank Transactions.
  3. Click on the Link Account tab in the upper right corner.
  4. Type the URL or your bank name in the Search field, then select the bank.
  5. Enter your Sign info in the Login and Password fields, then click Continue
  6. Select your account type in the Account type ▼, then choose Next.
  7. Map the bank account in the Existing Accounts ▼ dropdown, then select Next.
  8. Choose Connect, then click Done.

For more information on linking your bank accounts to your QBO account, refer to this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

After connecting your accounts, you can start organizing your downloaded bank transactions. The guidelines in this material can help you in doing so: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
