I keep having to reconnect my bank account to QB every 2 - 3 days - Credite Agricole in France

hello, I received the message that I needed to reconnect to my bank due to Brexit about 3 weeks ago which I did.

I have to reconnect every 2 - 3 days - I keep getting the same message. The bank in question is Credite Agricole in France.  Does anyone else have this issue?

Also, does anyone bank with Unicredit in Italy and would love to have an automated connection?  Perhaps we can join forces and ask the bank to do it.

Thanks!
Michael

Thanks for letting us know, @Salthouse Properties.

I appreciate you for taking the time to reach out to the Community. Usually, it happened due to the security of the bank. We can perform some steps here to get rid of the message you received.

To start, let’s verify if you can connect the bank through the link in QuickBooks Online:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Add account at the top right of the Banking screen.
  3. Search the name of your financial institution.
  4. Under results, select the bank.
  5. Click the link on the bank's website. Make sure you can access the account through this site.

You can also look for any notification or alert from your bank that might need to update your credentials. Sometimes the bank enabled new security features that require you to take action before you proceed.

Regarding the automated connection, you can communicate with the bank if they can establish a relationship with Intuit.

I've attached an article about importing transactions manually in QuickBooks. It provides steps so you'll be able to categories the entries in case you’ll encounter issues under bank feeds.

Keep me posted if you have any banking concerns or anything else. I'm determined to help you out. Take care Michael.
