I'm here to share insights about connecting your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO), nuwagabasteven.
The option to connect directly your DFCU ATM to QBO is unavailable. Since, ATM cards are typically used for cash withdrawals and deposits, rather than accessing account information and transactions.
We can link your online bank account in QuickBooks and manually enter the ATM transactions in QBO.
To connect your bank:
1. Go to the Transactions tab and select Bank Transactions.
2. Click on the Link account and enter the URL or bank name in the Search field, then select the bank.
3. Enter your sign-in information into the Login and Password fields, then click Continue
4. From the dropdown menu, choose the desired account and the date range for transactions.
5. Select your account type from the dropdown menu and click Next.
You can check this article to help review downloaded bank transactions and assign them to the correct accounts: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
I've added this article about handling bank errors when downloading transactions in QuickBooks: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Keep me posted if you have more questions connecting your DFCU account in QuickBooks. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
