No Value Tx in Credit Note

You must first set up sales tax to enable adding value tax in the credit note you will create, accounts600.

 

Setting up sales tax in QuickBooks Online helps you follow tax laws, keep your financial records straight, simplify tax calculations, make filing taxes easier, and boost customer trust and satisfaction.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Taxes section and select Set up tax.
  2. Enter your tax agency's name, your company's official tax number, your reporting method, how frequently you file taxes, and whether the taxes are for sales or purchases. Then, click on Next.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete the setup process, and then select Ok.

After setting up your sales tax, you can now create and add a credit note, with the option to include a value tax.
