Please I want to change my bank should I

Let me guide you on how you can change your bank, Tobir.

I  have two scenarios that I can think of when you want to change your bank. If you wish to update or change your payment method for your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription, you can follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Next to your payment method, choose Edit ✎.
  4. Select your preferred payment method and enter the necessary details.
  5. When you're done, click Save and use.

On the other hand, if you're trying to link a different bank account, you can have as many bank accounts as you like. You can connect another one by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. In the Link account dropdown, select Manage connections. Then toggle on the switch for any additional account you want to connect.
  3. If you don't see the account, go back to Transactions and select Link account.
  4. Then follow the steps to connect a new bank or credit card account.

For new bank accounts:

  • In the Account Type ▼ dropdown, select Bank.
  • In Detail Type, select Savings or Checking.
  • Give the account a name and then click Save and Close.

Additionally, learn how QuickBooks suggests categories based on how you categorise similar transactions. I've added this article for more details: Categorise Online Bank Transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Post your comment below if you have further questions about changing back or let me know if you're referring to something else. The Community is always here to help you all the time.
