Quickbooks received a payment for us why are my funds not in my bank?

Welcome back to the Community, kristen38.

If you're new to QuickBooks Payments, your first few payments can take longer to process while the account is being set up. Deposit speeds depend on which product you're using and the type of payment. Standard deposits are processed every day except for Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Instant Deposits process every day of the year with no exceptions.

Here's how to check your deposit speed if you're using QuickBooks Online:

  1. Use the Gear icon, then go to Account and settings.
  2. Access your Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

Here's how to check your deposit speed with QuickBooks Desktop and GoPayment:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Go to your Activity & Reports tab, then All Statements.
  3. Find the most recent statement and select View.
  4. Enter the last 4 digits of your Tax ID number.
  5. View your Date in the Activity Summary. This is when your deposit was made.

You can learn more about deposit speeds in our Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments article.

If you notice a recent payment you accepted is on hold, this doesn't mean there's anything wrong. It means Intuit needs to review the payment to make sure everything's alright. You can refer to our Learn about funds on hold article for more information on how to check if payments are on hold, and what you can do to help our review.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with QuickBooks Payments which may come in handy moving forward: Common questions about deposits

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a great Thursday!
