How can I delete assigned number to an account created as secondary account while I need to use same email as it is company email

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click your Profile icon and select Manage your Intuit Account.

  3. Tap the Sign-in & Security tab.
  4. Go to the Phone section and make the necessary changes.
  5. Hit Save.

Additionally, the information your customers see on their sales forms depends on what you set up in your account. To edit your contact information, here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Accounts and Settings.

  2. Tap the Company tab, then select the pencil icon beside the Contact info area.

  3. From the Company Phone dropdown, type in the number you wish to appear on your sales forms.
  4. If you don't have anything else to change, hit Save, then Done.

Thank you for the steps, I followed it but it mainly change the phone number for the main account and the number which will appear on the sales invoice however the number which the system using to verify the account is different and it is for an old accountant who already travelled and I don't have access to her.

Still the issue wasn;t fixed.

One solution to your concern is changing the assigned number on the Intuit account, @Azaki. I want to share it with you and help you from there.

 

If your accountant has left the company, I recommend requesting to become the primary admin of QuickBooks Online (QBO). Once you have primary admin access, you can change the phone number assigned for verifying your account.

When transferring the Master Admin access, you'll have to ensure that the user is already added as a Company Admin.

 

If not, you can follow these steps to set up the user first. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as the current primary admin. If you're unable to sign in, you can recover your user ID or password.
  2. Select Settings ⚙, and click Manage Users. And find the user you want to make the primary admin.
  3. In the Role column, make sure they are listed as Admin. If they’re not, select Edit to change their role to admin.
  4. Choose the ellipsis ⋮icon in the Action section. Then, select Change primary admin. After the Change primary admin again confirms the change.
  5. Sign out of QuickBooks.
