Why can't I link my Wio Bank account to QuickBooks despite providing the URL? Wio bank is not listed in list of banks available. Need assistance for this ongoing issue.

I can offer assistance in adding your Wio Bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO), Mazen.

If you don't see your bank listed in the banking section of QBO, it may not currently supported yet. You can submit a request to add it to the list of supported banks as a workaround. Please note that this process may take some time as it involves considering the number of requests received and obtaining approval from the bank.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions section and select Bank transactions.
  2. Choose Link account.
  3. Search for your financial institution's name. If QuickBooks doesn't find it, you'll see a message saying, "Hmm, we can't find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks." You'll then receive helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  4. If you still can't find your bank, click the Still can't find your provider? link.
  5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the provided field, and then select Request.

In the meantime, you can add your Wio bank transactions by downloading a CSV file format from your bank and uploading them to QBO.

To upload the transactions to QBO:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions tab and click on Bank transactions
  2. Locate and click on the blue tile representing the account where you want to upload the transactions.
  3. Click the Link account ▼ dropdown and then Upload from file.
  4. Choose either the Drag and drop option or select files to locate and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, click on Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to match the columns from the file with the appropriate fields in QuickBooks. Then, click on Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you want to import, and click on Continue.
  8. Confirm by selecting Yes, then click on Done to complete the process.

After obtaining your bank data, take the necessary step of categorising the transactions accurately to maintain proper accounting.

If you have any additional inquiries or need further assistance with linking your bank account, please don't hesitate to add a response. I'm here to help you out again.

@mazen-theimpress

You can use csv2qbo @ $60 one time license as a workaround.

So how long will take take Quickbooks to add WIO to their list? We need to decide if we will proceed with quickbooks or look into alternatives.

Why can't I link my Wio Bank account to QuickBooks despite providing the URL? Wio bank is not listed in list of banks available. Need assistance for this ongoing issue.

Connecting your Wio Bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential for effective financial management, RJShakir. Let me discuss this with you.

QBO doesn't provide a specific timeframe for when a bank, such as Wio, will be added to its list of supported institutions. The process involves reviewing requests and obtaining necessary approvals from the bank, which can take an indeterminate time.

However, the more requests received, the faster this could be included. Therefore, I recommend that you submit a request to add Wio Bank to the list of supported banks. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Click Link account.
  3. Look for your bank's name. If QBO can't find it, you'll see a message stating, Hmm, we can’t find [bank name] in our list of supported banks, along with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  4. If you’re still unable to find your bank, select Request.
  5. Type your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then tap Request.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your Wio bank transactions using a CSV file format.

Furthermore, I've also included the following resource to help you review your uploaded bank or credit card transactions: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have more questions about connecting your Wio Bank account. We're always ready to help.
