What categories of apps can be found in the QuickBooks app store?

 

The QuickBooks app store offers a wide range of app categories to cater to various business needs. There, you will find detailed information about the different categories of apps available on the QuickBooks app store.

 

Is it possible to try out apps before purchasing them from the QuickBooks app store?

 

That would depend on the terms that the developer offers and can vary from app to app. 

 

How can I manage and update the apps I have installed from the QuickBooks app store?

 

You have the option to disconnect apps either directly from QuickBooks Online or through the app developer's site.

 

Are there any fees associated with using apps from the QuickBooks app store?

 

Yes, some apps do charge fees to use their service which can be found on their respective landing pages on our app homepage. 

 

What steps should I take to troubleshoot issues or errors with apps from the QuickBooks app store?

 

If you encounter any connection issues, the recommended troubleshooting step is to disconnect and then reconnect. In most cases, this resolves the problem. However, if the issue persists, and it is specific to a particular app, we advise reaching out to the developer for further assistance. They will be able to provide specific guidance and support to address the issue effectively.


Does Intuit provide customer service support for their built-in apps?

 

To receive customer support for QuickBooks Online apps, you need to directly contact the customer support team of the specific app.

 

Are there certain apps that are available in all international regions?

 

To explore the wide range of available apps, please visit our apps homepage. These apps are accessible for all countries. While the majority of apps are available globally, there may be a small number of apps that are specific to certain countries.. To access these apps, simply navigate to the apps tab within QuickBooks Online.


Are there any guidelines that customer-owned apps need to meet before connecting to QuickBooks Online?

 

The apps listed on the app store have been through a process of meeting Intuit’s guidelines. Before Intuit lists an app on the app store, it goes through a technical review, security review, and marketing review. 

 

What security measures are in place to protect sensitive financial data when using third-party apps?

Are there any plans to build API or Bank Feed for common payment gateway applications like Stripe / Square Up / Sum Up?

 

We are working on a partnership with some payment gateway applications, but at this point, it would be premature to disclose specific details. Watch this space! 


What can we expect in terms of future app developments in QuickBooks Online? Will there be more apps added this year?

 

We are constantly trying to increase the number of API’s we expose to developers and to grow the app ecosystem. In the current fiscal year, our primary objective is to expand our app ecosystem to include approximately 100 apps. As of January 22, 2024, we already have 76 apps available on the app store for the rest of the world. We aim to establish strategic partnerships with apps specializing in data migration, payroll, inventory management, payments, and e-invoicing throughout this year.
