CSV FILE DOES NOT UPLOAD ALL TRANSACTIONS

Hi,

I am busy importing invoices into Quickbooks online, it says I can upload up to 1000 rows, but when I uploaded 200 it only captured 129. There was no message to say anything was missing in the others.

CSV FILE DOES NOT UPLOAD ALL TRANSACTIONS

Hello, shakui.

I'll share some information so you can successfully import all your invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Yes, that's correct. You can import up to 1000 rows per CSV file or spreadsheet. I recommend limiting your file to at least 100 invoices if your existing spreadsheet includes 200 invoices. This ensures that they'll all be imported successfully and without issues.

Check out this article for more insights about importing invoices in QuickBooks Online: Import multiple invoices at once.

In addition, I've included this resource in case there's a need to change product and service item types after importing it: Change product and service item types in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you need further assistance with importing multiple invoices. I'll be here to help you.

CSV FILE DOES NOT UPLOAD ALL TRANSACTIONS

Thanks very much, that makes sense as I tried to upload 200 invoices. I will stick to 100 at a time.

Kind regards

CSV FILE DOES NOT UPLOAD ALL TRANSACTIONS

Hi, @ShonnyR.

I see the urgency of getting this issue sorted out and getting back to working in order. I want to ensure you can find those imported transactions in QuickBooks Online. Let's go over and find them.

Have you set up bank rules? In that case, your transactions may be on the Categorise tab of the banking section in QBO since QuickBooks confirmed they were successfully uploaded. Once you download them, bank rules speed up the review process and automatically categorise transactions for you.

Check your bank rules by going to the Transactions menu and choosing Bank Transactions. From there, select the Rules tab

Once confirmed, you can review those transactions recognised by the rules that  aren't showing on the For Review tab. I'll show you how to do it:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  2. Select the tile for the account you want to review.
  3. Go to the Categorised or Reviewed tab.
  4. You can also streamline the transaction-finding process using the date range filters or manual search box.

For more insights on how to use bank rules, check out this handy article: Set up bank rules to categorise online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Once settled, these resources can aid you in organizing your transactions seamlessly:
