How to add an accountant

Thank you for reaching out to our community, @cadderle6 . I'm pleased to assist you with adding an accountant user to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company file.

 

Adding an accountant can manage complex financial tasks, allowing you to focus on running your business. They are the ones who provide professional guidance and ensure your financial records are accurate and compliant with accounting standards. Let's follow these steps to proceed:

 

    1. Log into your QBO account as a primary admin.

    2. Go to the Gear icon and select Manage Users.

 3.  Click the Accounting Firms tab.

    4.Enter the accountant's email address and click Invite.

After completing these steps, your accountant will receive an invitation link via email. Upon the accountant's acceptance of the invitation, their status in the Accountants list will change from Invited to Active.
