What to do if my mobil number is not receiving a code

Hello there, officialbsmi. I'm here to help you receive your verification code so you can successfully invite your accountant to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.

 

There are possible reasons why the code is not going through:

 

  1. Incorrect phone number- Ensure the mobile number associated with your QuickBooks account is correctly entered.
  2. Weak Signal or Connectivity Issues- Poor cellular reception or connectivity issues can prevent messages from being delivered.
  3. Blocked Numbers or Filters- Ensure that you haven't accidentally blocked the number that QuickBooks uses to send verification codes. Check your phone’s settings for any message filtering options that could be intercepting the message.

 

Here's how to check and update your phone number:
 

  1. Log in to your Intuit account.
  2. In the Intuit Account Manager, select Sign in & security.
  3. Select the User ID, Email address, Password, or Phone section.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. When you're done, select Save.

 

For more troubleshooting: 
 

  • Ensure Good Signal: Move to an area with better reception if needed.
  • Restart Your Phone: Turn your phone off and on to refresh its system.
  • Browser Troubleshooting: Clear your browser's cache to ensure you're accessing your account with a clean slate.

 

Then, try to invite your accountant again. If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our support team for them to assist you further in finding the cause of this. They can access your account in a safe environment and provide a resolution.
