I'm Treasurer for a small nonprofit using a "NFR" version of QuickBooks Desktop Premier. My Tax Accountant uses QuickBooks Online. Is there any way for my accountant to access my desktop version data? Quite frankly, my nonprofit is small enough that I can't ask them to pay the ongoing price for the online version. (On a side note, I'm concerned I'll be forced to look for another product when Intuit tries to force me to the online version.)

QB Desktop US Premier, correct? Which year version?
Your accountant can use the trial version of QB Desktop as a workaround.

Yes, it's Premier Nonprofit Edition, and 2021.
Awesome idea on the trial version of QB Desktop!
I see you're looking for a solution that allows your accountant to access your QuickBooks Desktop data without switching to the online version. I'll impart information that could help you achieve this.
You may consider exporting the required data from your QuickBooks Desktop software and importing it into QuickBooks Online. Although it may involve some manual effort, it can allow your accountant to work with the data on the online version without requiring continuous access to your desktop software.
On the other hand, you mentioned that you are using the NFR version of QBDT. With this in mind, I suggest reaching out to our Intuit Developer, as they can provide you with some workarounds specific to your product and needs. You can go directly to this link.
