You may have 2 ways to migrate data from Sage:

1. Prepare your files in CSV/XLS format and utilize an importer tool

2. Purchase a 3rd party conversion service

Thanks for reaching out to us, thehudson.

I can share some tips on how you can import your data.

You can use our QuickBooks Datswitcher conversion wizard to move your Sage 50 or Sage Peachtree data file. Depending on the file size and format, the conversion can take up to 72 hours from the time you uploaded the data. To learn more about this process, you can read this article: Conversion options to migrate from Sage 50 to QBO using Dataswitcher.

Alternatively, you can use a third-party importer tool to transfer your data. You may visit our QuickBooks App Store or go to the Apps menu within your QBO account to find one. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Select Apps from the sidebar menu.
  3. Go to the Find Apps tab.
  4. Enter a keyword in the search bar.
If you need some resources in completing your other tasks or setting up your new company, you check our Getting Started Guide.
