Why cant i upload Item Details when importing bills from the inbuilt option of import bills in quickbooks?

The Import Bill option does not provide facility to enter Item details like (Item SKU, Product/Service, Item Qty, Item Amount, Item Rate, Tax) which is available when one wants to enter a Purchase bill directly rather than using Import option

Is there any other method than buying an external app or a cheaper option for a single user ?

Hi @userfinance10.

 

Currently, QuickBooks Online can only import specific fields for each type of data. I know how beneficial it is when we can provide more mapping fields to enter other item details.

 

In the meantime, I'd suggest following the detailed steps on how to map column headers correctly so you can import bill transactions through this article: Import your bills in QuickBooks Online.

 

Also, before importing the bills make sure that these aren't more than 100 transactions. If you have new customers, suppliers and accounts, you'll need to enter or import them before uploading your CSV file.
