Can anyone tell me how do I include late fee in my overdue invoices? I have tried to enable it through Sales in Account and Setting but I do not have the Late Fees option

I have contacted QBO couple of times but they are not responsive.

I'll share some information about adding late fees in QuickBooks Online (QBO), printbuddy.

Automatic late fees to overdue invoices are available for US customers only and will be available for Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus companies. As a workaround, other unsupported regions can manually create a service item for the late fee and add it on the invoice as a line item. Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings and click Products & services.
  2. Click New, then select Service.
  3. In the Name field, enter late fee for the service.
  4. (Optional) From the Category dropdown, select the category that best describes the fee.
  5. (Optional) Fill out the rest of the fields and hit Save and close.

To add the late fee to the invoice

  1. Go to Sales and select Customers.
  2. Find and open the customer's invoice.
  3. From the Product/service dropdown, select the fee you created.
  4. (Optional) In the Amount field, enter the amount of the late fee.
  5. (Optional) In the Message on invoice section, add a note about the fee.
  6. Hit Save and send or Save and close.

Moreover, I'll add this article to help you personalise and add specific to your sales forms: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
