Let me clarify things about the features and processes in QuickBooks, @Anima GH.

 

You can link any bank account in QuickBooks, as long as it is supported by the program. If you're unsure, you can reach out to your financial institution to confirm. Otherwise, you can try the steps in this article to verify and help connect your bank to your QBO account: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

 

Secondly, you can easily apply a credit note to an invoice to reduce the balance on the next invoice. To do this, create the credit note first and then apply it to the invoice. For detailed steps, you can check out this reference: Create and apply credit notes or delayed credits in QuickBooks Online.

 

At this time, the tagging feature is exclusive to the QuickBooks Online US version. As an alternative, you can utilize the class tracking instead. 

 

Lastly, it's possible to hide accounts with 0 balances on your report. Let me show you how:

  1. On your report screen, click the Show non-zero or active only drop-down.
  2. Choose Non-zero for rows and columns.
