please add feature to update estimate status on mobile app, our sales representatives only use mobile for quotation. And to fastly update the team that the quotation are good to proceed if the quotation are accepted, but for now its still not live. please advise.

They can update the estimate status on their QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app by editing the estimate, Kyle.

 

If your sales representative is using an iOS device, here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Menu tab.
  2. Go to Estimates and select the estimate.
  3. Press the pencil icon in the upper right corner.

  4. Choose a Status and hit Save.

On the other hand, if they're using an Android device, let them follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Menu section, then Estimates.
  2. Locate the estimate and tap it to open.
  3. Press More.

  4. Select Update Status.

Additionally, you can convert the estimate into an invoice and enter customer payments to ensure accurate financial records.

Im using qb global cause im from PH, i dont see those options even though i follow some of your instructions, but most of it, i cant see those on my side.

Having the ability to change estimate statuses in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) Mobile App is a valuable feature that can significantly enhance your team's efficiency, Kyle. I recommend using a mobile or web browser to update the progress of your estimates.

 

It's important to note that QuickBooks has different capabilities depending on the region you are in. As a user with a QuickBooks account in the Philippines, the option to update estimate status through the mobile app is currently unavailable. I encourage you to submit a feature suggestion to our Product Development Team, as your feedback is essential for guiding improvements and ensuring our products meet user needs.

 

I'll show you how you can send one:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO account in the app.
  2. Navigate to Menu, then Settings.
  3. Hover to the HELP section, then Feedback.
  4. Enter your suggestions.
  5. Click the Send feedback button to finalize.

 

To update the status using the web browser, here's how:

 

  1. Go to Sales, then Estimates.
  2. Click the dropdown under the ACTION column, then Update Status.
  3. Select a status and complete other necessary details.
  4. Hit Ok to finalize the changes.
     

Once an estimate is accepted, we can convert the estimate into an invoice once your customer plans to accept it for a streamlined process. Then, let's record the payment using the Receive payment feature to mark them as paid.
