Like this one below? You need to have an additional app to integrate with QBO.

Can we create proforma invoice in quickbooks?

Yes, you can, @7218331111. I'm here to guide you in creating a proforma invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, you can use the Estimate form to create a Proforma. You can customize the form and name it as a Proforma Invoice so you can easily use it whenever needed. Here's how to do it:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click New Style and select Estimate.
  4. From the Design tab, enter Proforma Invoice as the new title for the form.
  5. You can also add additional customization to make the form more personalise.
  6. Once finished, click Done.

Then, to use this template, you simply need to select the Customise option at the lower right part of the Estimate form and choose the Proforma Invoice template.

For your reference about the process, feel free to visit this article: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

If you need any resources that you may bookmark for future use, go to our QuickBooks Online Help page. On the page, you may find a variety of support articles and even video tutorials to aid you with your QBO tasks.

Can we create proforma invoice in quickbooks?

When pressing customise and choosing the pro-forma invoice I have created, nothing changes or shows up.

Is there an issue or bug with this currently? I have tried in different browsers.

Many thanks

I've checked our records and found no similar proforma invoice issues, JP2022.

I've got another way to fix this. You can open your QuickBooks account using an Incognito window or private browser. Private mode prevents storing cache that can cause problems when running websites. Thus, a perfect place to fix unexpected QuickBooks behavior. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

If it works, clear the cache of your default browser to eliminate browsing history and refresh the system.

You can read this article for additional information on customising sales forms in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be around if you need more help managing your invoices.
