Email Invoice Attachment Invoice - QBpro2018

Hi,

When I send an email invoice from the invoice screen the attached PDF file does not show our company name in header.  I've created "email invoice templates" but i cant seem to change the PDF file attached to the email.

For our standard invoices we use pre-printed forms showing our company name.  For hard copies, "Print Later" I still need to use preprinted forms but how do I link "email invoice" to a different PDF attachment.

I’d be glad to assist you to customize your invoice templates, Tom81.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can always create different form styles for your invoice, estimate and even sales receipts up to 50 templates! I’ll show you the way to have hassle-free transactions with your clients.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to your credentials in your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, and choose the Custom Form Styles tab.
  3. From there, click on the New style button and select Invoice.
  4. You can modify the design and content of the invoice according to your preference.
  5. Click on the Emails tab to see how you wanted your invoice to look like through email.
  6. Tick the box for the PDF Attached so that your customers can print their hard copies in just one click.
  7. Hit Done, after customizing.

Also, you can check this article for more information about the customization process: Email and customize sales form.

For future reference, this article can be handy on email or print multiple invoices and sales forms.

If you have further concerns about attaching an invoice PDF file to your email. Loop me in, so that I can back you up right away. Have a good one!
