Hello @mamoron,

You'll have to set up your sales tax first, so you can add it to your invoices. Let me guide you how.

  1. Go to Taxes, then Sales Tax.
  2. Under Related Tasks section, select Add/edit tax rates and agencies.
  3. Hit New. Then, enter your new sales tax rate and other information.
  4. Tick Save.

After that, create an invoice and add your tax rate from the drop-down. Here's how:

  1. Go to +New, then Invoice.
  2. Enter your invoice details. Then, put a check mark in the Tax column.
  3. Under Subtotal, select your tax rate from the drop-down (see attached image below).
  4. Click Save and close.

With these steps, you're able to enter your tax to your invoice. You can learn more about sales tax at this link: Record your total daily sales.

We also have a guide on how sales tax works on discounts that I'm sure you'll find helpful. It contains information that'll help through the process.

That'll do it. Please let me know if you're referring to something else, or if you have other questions or concerns. I'll be around to assist you every step of the way. Thanks for coming in today and I wish you have a wonderful day ahead.
