Have QB automatically email invoices, receipts etc to Admin email address (not "customer facing" address) as soon as they're generated (without emailing them to customers

Wanted to be immediately/AUTOMATICALLY alerted (receive a copy) via the Admin email address, whenever my staff generate invoices, accept payment etc. It'll be just a way for me to keep track of what's happening within my business without my logging in to QB first.

Hi @Downsview,

Welcome to the Community!

Thank you for the details you've included in your post. Please be advised, the specific feature you described is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO) at this time.

What you can do is submit feedback to our product developers from within the product. It goes directly to them, so be as detailed as you can with the feature you want to have in the future.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.

Open this article for additional reference: How do I submit feedback?

Let me know if you have other questions about QBO, and I'll get back to handle them for you.

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for your reply! However, is there at least a way to get a notification when an invoice is generated or a receipt given (without necessarily getting a copy of the actual thing)? This notification could be by email or in-app notification or something of the sort.

If no, then is there any simple way of keeping track of employee transactions without having to login and screen through everything?

Cheers!

I will route you to a page where you can post feature suggestions, @Downsview.

For the time being, you'll want to log in to your account and run the Audit Log for you to track the employees' transactions or sequence of events.

I understand that this feature is quite important for your business and its development is our highest priority. I'd recommend sending a product request to our engineers as what my peer mentioned above. Please follow the steps outlined overhead.

Once done, you can always visit this website where you can trace your submitted feature requests

You may also check out these articles about handling your business information, customer transactions, and other topics.

I'm willing to listen if you have other concerns about the features in QuickBooks Online. You can click the Reply button and I'll be there to help you out. Keep safe.
