Thanks for visiting the Community today, @accounts539. When some of the options are missing unexpectedly, it could mean a browser-related problem.
Please know that QuickBooks Online uses a cache to quicken the loading process on each page. While this is good, it also accumulates temporary internet files in your cache which can result some issues.
We can cobfirm this by logging in your QuickBooks company with an incognito or private browser. Use these keyboard shortcut keys listed below to access according to your preferred browser:
Check to see if the drop-down for taxes in the invoice is now showing. If it does, start clearing the cache to empty those temporary internet files that sets in your primary browser.
Otherwise, use another supported, and updated browser.
