Possibly, the invoice was deleted since you're unable to locate it using the admin settings. To track it from August 2019, I'd recommend opening the audit log. It records all the activities made in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Here's how:
Once done, locate the invoice by identifying the name of the customer, its creation date, and the amount. Then, select the View hyperlink under the History column to view its details. Using that information, you can re-enter the invoice in QBO.
Additionally, there are a variety of reports that'll provide the details about your invoices. If you wish to view the list of payments you’ve received and the invoices that go with them, you can pull up the Invoices and Received Payments report from the Reports menu.
