How to create invoice series manually

Ho w to create invoice series

Hello there, @uservkvijay231.

 

You can turn on the Custom transaction numbers feature. This way, you can control the sequence. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Go to the Sales tab.
  4. Click the Pencil icon in the Sales form content row.
  5. Tick the Custom transaction numbers box.
  6. Click Save, then Done

Once completed, you can now manually add the invoice number. QuickBooks Online will remember the number and continue the sequence. 

 

However, if you're referring to creating a recurring invoice. You can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Recurring Transactions. 
  3. Click the New button
  4. Select Invoice, then click OK.
  5. Enter the invoice details
  6. Under Interval drop-down arrow and select the specific month you wanted to be due. 
  7. In the Terms drop-down field, select Add new.  
  8. Set the term Name, choose Due by a certain day of the month radio button, and enter the day of the month field.  
  9. Hit Save Template.
