I'm here to help share insights about the serial numbers of your inventory items in QuickBooks Online.
As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to record the serial numbers for an inventory item. For now, let's consider using the SKU field to record the serial numbers as you enter your inventory items. Or integrate one of your third-party applications from the Apps center to capture them.

- Go to the Gear icon.
- Under Profile, select Feedback.
- Describe how recording the serial numbers of your inventory items and making sure they show up on invoices and sales receipts helps your business in QuickBooks.
- Select Next.
- Click Skip and send message.
