I am running Multi Currency transactions but today exchange rates are unavailable. What is happening?

Let's make sure that you can see the exchange rates, accounts-wrfoods,

I made a couple of transactions in my QBO account and I can still see the exchange rate. It's shown just below the name of the customer or payee.

Although there are times that too much cache and other browser issues can hide buttons and sections in QBO. I have steps to share that can resolve unexpected results happen when working in the program.

Let's start by removing stored cache to remove any data that might have hidden the rates. Here's an article as a guide: Clear Cache and Cookies to Fix Issues When Using QuickBooks Online.

Aside from that, you can also switch or use other browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla, Microsoft Edge, or Safari. They are all compatible with QBO and can help us isolate the issue.

You can use these keyboard shortcuts on how to do that:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
  • Control + Option +P if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Microsoft Edge

Once done, go back to your account and create a transaction with a different currency. Then, check if you can already see the exchange rate.

Additional information and references are also provided here in case you might need them:
