Reports will only be generated in your home currency. Consider having a BI app as the workaround.
Hi there, @Kelley T. We appreciate you taking the time to inform us of your situation. We'll provide details and additional information about running reports that show as USD in QuickBooks Online.
You're unable to change the home currency on the report page. Changing your home currency can affect your previous reports or transactions within QuickBooks Online (QBO). The default currency for the reports is the home currency.
As a workaround, you can run transaction details by account report and add columns for currency, exchange rate, or any other columns they need that will show USD. You can export it to Excel to further modify it.
As we can see, the invoice will automatically generate the currency you've set up for this customer. That's how it works. I'm sure you'll be needing these handy articles soon to learn more about the multi-currency feature in QBO:
Here's an article about managing reports: Customise, automate, and export reports in QuickBooks Online.
If you're all good, browse this guide to fix an account balance mismatch: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
Let me know in the comment section if you have further clarification about customizing reports and currency. I'm rooting for the prosperity of your business!
