In QBO Advanced, you can't block deleting invoices without also blocking editing or creating due to how permissions work, @habimana--Fabrice.

 

To remove the Delete access to invoices for a certain employee, you can remove their access to invoices. This means they can't create, edit, or view invoices.

 

The available option is to either check or uncheck the access to Invoices.

 

 

Currently, the option to customize user roles is available in the US version. I believe removing the Delete access to invoices of a certain user is a useful feature. Thus, I recommend sharing your thoughts with our software engineers. They carefully examine customer feedback, especially when determining how to improve QuickBooks.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  3. Type in your suggestion and click Next.
