Thank you for getting in touch with the Community, Shimomura. I'm glad to assist you with connecting your HSBC (Hong Kong) account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
To connect your account, QuickBooks will require a One-time password (OTP) which is sent to your device either through text or call. However, if you are unable to receive your OTP, it could be because of an incorrect contact number registered on your bank account information. To resolve this issue, you can either log in to your bank account to change it or contact them directly to be properly assisted on how to add your device or contact information. Once this is done, you will be able to receive the One-time Passcode and enter it on QBO to connect your HSBC bank account.
On the other hand, there is also an option for us to have your transactions over to QBO by manually uploading them. Check out this article for the steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. It's a step-by-step guide on how you can create a CSV file that contains your bank transactions, along with the steps on how to import it.
Furthermore, I'm also sharing this reference in case you need to update your credentials in QBO: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.
You can always come back to the comment section if you have more questions about connecting your account to QuickBooks Online. If you also have other QuickBooks-related Queries, I'll be more than happy to assist you. Stay safe!
