If one qbo account is discontinued due to be abolished, will the other accounts under the same email address be discontinued too?

Hi there, @Gigie.

 

I hope you're having a great day! I've got the answer on what happens to other accounts if you discontinue one under the same login.

 

Each company file under the same email address is its own paid subscription. Thus, if you cancel one account, the others will continue. You'll still be able to work on them.

 

You can cancel your subscription on the Accounts and Settings page. Follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Account and Settings.
  2. Select Billing and subscription.
  3. Go to the QuickBooks section and click Cancel.

  4. Choose Continue to cancel, then click the Continue to cancel button in case it appears on the screen.
  5. Go through the steps that follow.
  6. Click Submit and cancel subscription.
  7. Click Got it.
     

Once done, you'll get an email confirmation for the cancellation of your online subscription. Also, QBO will hold onto your data for up to one year. I suggest saving all of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data by exporting the information. This way, it can be saved, stored, and transferred if needed.
