The option to add columns on the Estimate/Invoice would be a good product enhancement, kevenalbert27.

At this time, we can only add custom fields to the estimates/invoice. I'll show you how to do it:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Choose the Sales tab.
  3. From the Sales form content section, click on Custom fields.
  4. Enter Manufacturer to add the fields on the sales form.
  5. Select Internal to show the fields in QBO, and Public to show on customer forms.
  6. Click Save, and then Done.

Doing the steps will help you add extra fields to your sales forms.

To learn more details on how to personalise and add specific info to your sales forms, please refer to this article: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

If you need more help with the customisation of your sales form, please let me know. I'll be sure to help you out.

Is there a provision to provide a manufacturer / preferred vendor column in Estimate & Invoices?

Dear Glinette,

Thank for the input.

There are 3 custom cells available which I have already utilized for Delivery term, Delivery Period & Delivery location. There aren't any additional columns.

The 3 items "Delivery term, Delivery Period & Delivery location" are standard when submitting an estimate. If Quickbooks could add this as part of the default template then the customs cell would be available for addtional data like "Manufacturer" name.

Your suggest is very useful, but minor updation is required.

Thanks,

Keven
