It could be the recurring invoices were set up to a different date. That's why the recurring entry being issued on the wrong dates after reactivating them. I suggest going to the recurring invoice template to check the date entered. Then, you're able to change the date from there.

If it works in incognito, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser. This removes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate.
