QUICKBOOK ONLINE FIELD - IS IT POSSIBLE TO CUSTOMISE TO MY FORMAT?

We appreciate you posting your concern here in the Community, @Abie059.

As much as we'd like to help you sort this out, however, we need a few details to give you an accurate answer. Are you referring to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) interface? Can you tell us what fields you want to customise? Any information that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

We're looking forward to hearing back from you. The Community team is always here to have your back. Have a good one.

QUICKBOOK ONLINE FIELD - IS IT POSSIBLE TO CUSTOMISE TO MY FORMAT?

Hi there,

yes its QuickBooks Online referred as QBO.

Thank you for your response, as I mentioned some fields in the various form do not necessarily apply to our nature of business/works.

Let me point out an example: In the Estimate/Quote Form there is not an option about seeing the sales rep. So who would know which sales created the quote.

Another example is I need to place my company's bank details so clients can see my and make payments.

Also when I view my customer list I see the contact person's name appearing either 1st or 2nd on the Customer Details Field, I prefer the contact person's name appearing below (it is not necessary that it should appear at the top of the customer details field)

These are few of the main ones that I have picked up but I am seeing more but relatively minor which can have an impact to my data.

If you want I can scan and post examples of the forms that I require.

Thank you in advance.

Regards

Abie

QUICKBOOK ONLINE FIELD - IS IT POSSIBLE TO CUSTOMISE TO MY FORMAT?

Thank you for getting back here in the thread, @Abie059.

Before anything else, I'd like to take the time to say that I appreciate you for providing a detailed response. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), know that you can create customized templates and use them in your sales forms when processing transactions for your valued customers. I can input the steps below to help you start your template with your preferences to get you going:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top-right corner, click the Gear icon and then select Custom form styles.
  3. Click New style, and then select a sales form type you’d like to create a template for.

See this article for further guidelines: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Since there are sections inside the company that can't customize, I can help you send a feature suggestion to our Product Development Team. This way, they can see your recommendation and consider having it for future program updates. Here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
  3.  Select Feedback and then enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Once ready, click Next to submit feedback.

Moreover, here's an article to help you ensure your data stays accurate inside QBO: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
