We have issue integrating API, we update invoice with new CustomerRef over API, it also updates billing address even we do not send it. If we send address, it is ignored.

We have existing proforma/invoice and in a time, we need to change CustomerRef to another one over API. When we do this, it works, but it also changes Billing address to the new CustomerRef address. We want to keep the original record. Unfortunatelly, even when we specify this, we are not able to avoid the change of address, any idea please?

Hi there, startupr_backoff.

Thank you for posting here in QuickBooks Community. Let me route you to the right support to resolve your issue.

Since QuickBooks data is being integrated with API, I recommend signing up and posting your question to our separate online forum called Intuit Developer Community. This site contains resources for software development, as well as the ability to ask fellow developers questions.

Here's how:

  1. Visit: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/.
  2. On the Intuit Developer page, go to the right-hand side.
  3. Under Platform Status, look for QuickBooks Online Sandbox.
  4. Choose between View Sandboxes, or Create New Sandbox.
  5. Login using your QuickBooks Online credentials.

Please check this article to see steps on how you can personalise your sales forms to enhance your business' brand: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to post again if you have other questions related to QuickBooks. I'm always here to help.
