What should I do if I do when I try to subscribe it says update company information but when I input this it says its incorrect.

Hello there. I'm here to share some information so you can update your information and subscribe to QuickBooks.

 

When subscribing, it's best to ensure that you're logging in as a company admin and there are no special characters as you update your information since this will cause errors.

 

On the payment method, please make sure to fill in the provided field. If your address doesn't have a Postal code, you can enter 00000. It's also best to check if the billing address in your QuickBooks Online company file matches the address on your card.

 

Here's how:

 

Step 1: Check if your address in QBO matches the address on your card

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon located in the upper right corner.
  3. Click Account and Settings.
  4. Under the Company tab, you can update your information, such as the Contact info and Address field.

 

Step 2: Review and update billing info

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon located in the upper right corner.
  3. Click the Billing & subscription option.
  4. Select the Pencil icon to edit your information.
  5. Under the Payment method, fill out the necessary information.
  6. Once done updating your billing info, click Save.

 

You can also use other supported web or private browsers when updating the information to rule out any browsing history or cached files causing the problem. Here are the shortcut keys for accessing private browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N
