When I add a column for tax on my invoices it adds the tax agency name but not the percentage. How can I add this (as it's a legal requirement)?

  1. Click Taxes in the left panel and choose the Tax Agency from the drop-down arrow.
  2. From the Edit Sample Tax drop-down arrow, click Edit settings.
  3. Add the percentage amount right next to the tax agency name.
  4. Hit Save.

Thank you for this info. I see that changing the name doesn’t result in all my previously sent invoices including the 21% figure on them, even though paid invoices are updated if I change the invoice template, for example.


It’s not obvious that you are supposed to type the percentage in the tax agency name, especially as when I am creating the invoices, the percentage is noted next to the tax name - it just doesn’t show up on the invoice sent to clients. I now need this added for my accountant. How can I do this for paid invoices?
