The prompt to upgrade your QuickBooks Online account is likely due to exceeding the limit on the number of accounts allowed in your current subscription plan, Dunav. Let me help explain why this is happening.
QBO Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus plans have a usage limit of 250 Chart of Accounts entries. However, QBO Advanced is the only plan that offers an unlimited number of Chart of Accounts entries.
If you've recently reached or exceeded the limit of your current subscription level, you'll be unable to add additional items like users or accounts. QuickBooks offers two options to address this limitation: upgrade to a higher subscription level that accommodates more accounts or reduce your usage. These options ensure that you can continue to manage your business finances effectively without disruption.
Upgrading your subscription will also provide additional features and capabilities. These improvements can help you manage your business more efficiently and effectively. On the other hand, you can make an account inactive or merge duplicate accounts to reduce your usage in the chart of accounts.
