How do I change the account from which automated payroll tax payments are withdrawn?

Welcome to the Community space, @lmliquorslex. I'll guide you through changing the account associated with paying payroll taxes inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To modify the bank used for settling payroll taxes, we'll need to access the Payroll settings by clicking on the Gear icon in the upper right corner of your account. Follow these steps:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right corner, click the Gear icon and then select Payroll Settings.
  3. From Bank Accounts, select Edit ✎.
  4. Select Update.
  5. Click Add new bank account.
  6. Search your bank name. You may be asked to enter your online banking user ID and password. Otherwise, select Enter bank info manually. Enter your routing and account number, then select Save.
  7. Once done, click the Accept and Submit button.

I have included a screenshot below for visual references.

On the other hand, you can check this reference to help wrap up this year's payroll in QBO: Year-end checklist for QuickBooks Online Payroll.

There's a comment section below, which I recommend utilizing if you need my assistance when organizing payroll tax payments. You can also post here if you have questions about QuickBooks. I'll be more than happy to guide you again anytime. Stay safe, and have a good one.
