I work for a non profit organization and we have detail type for income - non profit income. We need a detail type - non profit expense. How can we add that?

For now, QuickBooks doesn't offer a specific option for a detailed type for nonprofit expenses. Thus, I recommend sending feedback directly to our product engineers. Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO account and go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your thoughts/insights about it and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.


     

When creating an account in QuickBooks, you can consult an accountant for further guidance when choosing the detailed type.
