Is there a way to restrict the users to access the transactions of a specific class only?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community, @senthil-redlys-c. I’ll share some information regarding user roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When managing your user’s access, you’ll be able to manage their tasks and restrict their access to certain tasks. You may also control what users can view and do in several areas of QuickBooks, such as customers and sales, suppliers and purchases. Nevertheless, the option to restrict users to accessing a specific class is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online.

Rest assured that our product developers are always open to suggestions to improve our products and are able to meet our customers’ business needs.

Thus, I recommend that you send your feedback directly to our product engineers. They will be able to consider this option and assist you with your business demands in this manner.

Here’s how you can submit feedback in QuickBooks Online (QBO):

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, click on Feedback.
  3. Share your feedback. Then, click Next.

To learn more about user roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online, you can check out this link.

Let me know if you have further questions in mind, you can always leave a comment below. The Community always has your back. Have a great day!

@senthil-redlys-c

Consider having an additional app as a workaround to integrate with your QBO. e.g Project Management app, CRM app, etc

So in a comical way, the feedback button doesn't work properly.  This feature (being able to limit access by location) used to exist and now apparently doesn't?  Can you explain stripping this feature?
