Markup % is not calculated in Bill option. Also Total amount is not calculated with % Tax. Please help how to fix this issue.

I'm here to help ensure your markup and taxes are being calculated on your bill, umesh1.

You might want to ensure that the Markup with a default rate of option is selected to calculate the Markup % on the bill.

Also, make sure to tick the Tax option to calculate the tax %.

However, if these options are all selected and still not calculating the markup and tax, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps. We can start by accessing the QuickBooks Online account in a private window. Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P.
  • Safari: press Command Shift N.

Once signed in, go back to your bill and see if it's calculating. If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main browser and clear its cache to remove the browser's history. You may also try accessing your account using another supported browser. Even if the article is for QuickBooks Online (QBSE) US, the same concept can be applied to your INDIA account.

In the meantime, I recommend visiting this article: QuickBooks Help Articles. This will provide you links on how to solve tax-related issues as well as managing bills in QuickBooks Online.

Kindly update me on the result as I want to make sure this is resolved. I'm also here if you need help with anything in QuickBooks. Have a good one!
