Any idea why my new user does not receive the log on text code on her phone

We received a couple of reports about users not receiving verification codes via text or SMS, 297farmaua.


Our engineering team has been notified of this issue and is currently investigating (INV-96991) to check what's preventing the code from being delivered. We have also created a list to track all affected users and gather more information about the issue.

 

I recommend contacting our chat support team to add you to this list. Here are the steps to reach them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner of QBO.
  2. Proceed to the Assistant tab.
  3. Type in "contact support" in the chat box and press Enter.
  4. Select Contact Support Team, then type in "contact support" once again.
  5. Choose No, I still need help and click Contact Support Team.
  6. Click Chat.

 

In the meantime, new users can opt to receive the code via email while we work on resolving the issue. Let me share the steps on how to do that:

 

  1. Go to the QBO login page.
  2. Click Sign in a different way.
  3. Choose the Email a code option
