Can you help becuase my accountant is getting a message that his invite is not supported QuickBooks Online company from a different region.' How can i resolve this

Good day, gretarapinett. Thanks for sharing your concern in QuickBooks Community.

n QuickBooks Online, accountants are able to extend invitations to clients, provided both parties are operating within the same region. It's possible that his clients are using a different region which can be the reason why he's getting the message.

As a workaround, you can invite him as a Company Administrator of your account. By doing so, they will gain access to your file. Here's a step-by-step guide to assist you:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage users.
  3. Go to the Users tab, then click Add user.
  4. Select Company admin, then click Next.
  5. Fill in the fields, then click Save.

For additional info, you can check out this article: Add and manage users in QBO.

Furthermore, to better manage your team within QuickBooks, you can explore this useful resource: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.

I recognise the inconvenience you have encountered with not being able to resolve the invitation error in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let's work together to help fix the issue.

Ensure you and your accountant has the same QBO version and region. If your accountant has a different version and region from yours but you still wish to maintain your current subscription, you have the option of appointing them as a Company Admin, enabling them to manage your financial records.

Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, click on the Gear icon, then select Manage users.
  2. Go to the Users tab, then click Add user.
  3. Select Company admin.
  4. Check This user is my accountant. Note: This step doesn't apply to Simple Start subscriptions.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Enter the accountant's name and email address, then select Save.
