Hi Naoko,
It's challenging to see customers cancelling subscriptions, but I understand you have your reasons, so we want to ensure you're guided through the process to achieve this goal.
To assist you, please know that the cancellation process depends on where you originally signed up for your subscription. If you subscribed through a mobile app store, you will need to cancel the subscription directly within that app store's settings. You may follow the official steps to cancel a subscription from Apple based on your location.
However, if you purchased your subscription online, you can unsubscribe from your account by going through the Gear icon and then Account and Settings. Please note that to proceed, you will be required to log in as a Master Administrator or Company Administrator.
Before doing so, I suggest exporting all your documents for future purposes. Once done, follow these steps to cancel your QuickBooks Online account:
Please note that if you subscribed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, you won't be able to cancel the subscription directly in QuickBooks.
After canceling your QuickBooks Online subscription, you can still access your data in read-only mode for up to one year. To know the life of your QuickBooks data after you end your subscription, check out this article: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?
We genuinely hope that you will reconsider using QuickBooks in the future. If you have any further questions about your subscription, you are still welcome to post here.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
