Change language in quickbooks online

I hope you’re doing fine, @Luciano 1.

Currently, the option to change the default language in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is only available to QBO Global versions.

If you’re using an Italian version, you’ll have the option to modify its default language by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and select Account and settings.
  2. Choose the Advanced tab, and scroll down to the Language field.
  3. Click the Language dropdown and select which one you preferred. Then, click To register.

On the other hand, if you’re using a QBO US version. The option is currently unavailable. Thus, I recommend you send feedback directly to our product engineers. This way, they can get notified of the features that business owners need. To do so, simply go to the Gear icon, then select Feedback.

In the meantime, you’ll want to change the language settings on your browser to change the one you are currently using. I added a screenshot below for your guidelines on how:

Furthermore, browse our Help articles whenever you need help with managing your QBO account. Doing so will help you gather some tips and guidelines for your concerns.

Let me know if you have more concerns about your QuickBooks settings. I’m just a post away. Have a good one!

Change language in quickbooks online

Thanks for following up on this thread.

Currently, changing the language settings in QuickBooks Online Singapore is unavailable. I can see the importance of having this feature in your business. With that, I suggest sending feedback to our product developers so they can review it and might consider adding this in our future updates. We’re continuously looking for ways to enhance our product features.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Profile, select Feedback.
  3. Enter your suggestion.
  4. Hit Next.

Alternatively, you can use the Language settings of the browser to change the one you're currently using. You can follow the steps below for Google Chrome. For other browsers, the following article contains some links on how to update the language settings: Microsoft Forms.

  1. Tap the three-dot icon to select Settings.
  2. Click the Advanced link below to access the Languages section.
  3. Hit the drop-down for Language to access the Add Language window.
  4. Mark the box for the one you want to use, then press the Add button.

You might also want to consider changing your QuickBooks Community username as it appears to contain your company ID, which may compromise your privacy and security.
