Thank you for your interest in our QuickBooks products, @erisone. I'm pleased to answer your query about accessing QuickBooks running Windows 7/64 and using Google Chrome and Firefox browsers.
If you're referring to QuickBooks Online, the answer is Yes. The program supports Windows 7 and is available for browsers like Google Chrome and Firefox. It includes Microsoft Edge and Safari. See this guide to learn more about the minimum and recommended operating systems: System requirements for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Accountant.
However, if you're inquiring about the system requirements for QuickBooks Desktop, it no longer supports Windows 7. This is because Microsoft stops providing security updates for PCs running this operating system. Thus, it's prone to risk.
Since protecting our customer's data is our priority, we recommend upgrading to Windows 10. To answer the Frequently Asked Questions, refer to this article: QuickBooks Desktop no longer supports Windows 7. This is from the US version but also applies to QBO International.

Which QB Desktop year version do you have?
Hi Jamaica,
We apologize for the lack of clarity.
The inquiry is related to a desktop version on a local server running Windows Server 2019-Standrad, and the devices connected to the server are running Windows 7/64. We want to verify how the client device connects to the server/database, whether through the browser or not? because we are working within a plan to apply a domain control policy on the devices connected to the server and thereby minimize risks.
Thank you.
In addition, we are planning to subscribe to the QB desktop version so we need to verify the technical requirements.
You need to know the country version of QB Desktop and which year version you have now before upgrading to a new version. Windows 7 only supports the outdated version of QB Desktop. You can set up a simple private cloud solution if you need Win 7 client machines to run a supported version of QB Desktop (i.e 2021-2023) on the server as a workaround.
Hello Fiat Lux,
Appreciate your interesting & cooperation.
Currently we don't have QB desktop only planning to know the requirements before moving forward.
So the limited options for us are:
1. third-party applications to be mid point between server & clients devices as cloud layer to support windows 7/64.
2. Install outdated QB desktop version <2021 which is not segmented or supported by Intuit.
3. Upgrade clients devices to windows 10.
What is your suggestions?
Country: Saudi Arabia
Thanks again.
How many user do you need to access one company file at the same time?
At the beginning, as follows:
inventory 1
direct sales 2
accounting 1
administration 1
Total: 5 static IPs
You may consider to use QB Desktop 2023 US Premier Plus for 5 users.
You can purchase the license via a partner without a credit card if required. But you have to compromise with one of these options:
1. Upgrade your machines to run on Win 10, or
2. Use a private cloud solution and your old machine will run QB on the server by an internet connection. Their solution is using the Windows RDP

If you refuse to compromise, QB Desktop is not for you. Use QB Online instead.
Thank you Fiat, may need to re-examine it.
Regards.
